The idea behind "FairTruck" is to award a seal of quality to those companies who have committed themselves to ensuring fair, transparent and responsible treatment of professional truck drivers. At the same time, these drivers are given a platform, an app, that allows them to evaluate and rate FairTruck partners and anonymously report violations of applicable guidelines.
FairTruck partners pledge to adhere to a list of criteria, whose fulfilment is then monitored and evaluated by the participating professional truck operators. A serious breach of these criteria can result in sanctions which may include the complete revocation of the quality seal.
One key objective of the FairTruck system is to underscore the effort and performance delivered by professional truck drivers on a daily basis, as well as to increase the public’s awareness and appreciation of the transport and logistics sector.
